Terms of Service

Last updated: January 2026. These Terms govern your use of Laser Minder ("Service") operated by Laser Minder ("we," "us," or "our").

Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, accessing, or using Laser Minder, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Description of Service

Laser Minder is a cloud-based software application that helps you track maintenance schedules, equipment, supplies, and related reminders for laser cutters and associated tools. Features may change as we improve the product. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

User Accounts & Responsibilities

  • You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your password and devices.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of maintenance data, machine details, and any content you submit. Laser Minder is a planning and tracking tool—not a substitute for manufacturer instructions or professional safety judgment.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other accounts, or data you are not permitted to access.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including by introducing malware, excessive automated traffic, or harmful code.
  • Use the Service to transmit unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing content.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or resell the Service except as expressly permitted by us in writing.

Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, branding, documentation, and design, is owned by Laser Minder and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your internal purposes in accordance with these Terms. You retain ownership of data you submit; you grant us the rights necessary to host, process, and display that data to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR FREE OF ERRORS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LASER MINDER AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100), IF APPLICABLE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS; IN THOSE CASES, OUR LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create risk or possible legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practicable). Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including disclaimers, limitations of liability, and intellectual property—will survive.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and, where appropriate, notifying you by email or in-product notice. The "Last updated" date will be revised accordingly. Material changes will take effect after notice or as required by law.
