• Account data: email address, name, authentication identifiers, and profile preferences you provide when you register or update your account.
• Machine & maintenance data: information you enter about your laser equipment, maintenance tasks, schedules, logs, supplies, and related notes—stored so we can provide reminders and tracking features.
• Usage data: technical information such as device type, browser, approximate location derived from IP (if processed by our infrastructure), pages viewed, and diagnostic logs to secure and improve the Service.
• Communications: messages you send to support and records of transactional emails we send you.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, operate, and improve Laser Minder.
• Authenticate users, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain the security of the Service.
• Send service-related emails (e.g., account verification, password reset, billing or subscription notices) and, where you have opted in, product tips or marketing.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

Data Storage

We host application data with Supabase, a managed database and authentication platform. Data is stored in accordance with Supabase's infrastructure and security practices. While we implement reasonable safeguards, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Third Party Services

We rely on trusted processors, including:

• Google— for optional "Sign in with Google" authentication. Google's use of information is governed by Google's policies when you choose that sign-in method.
• Resend — for sending transactional and product-related email. Resend processes recipient addresses and message metadata as needed to deliver mail.
• Supabase — for database storage, authentication sessions, and related backend services.

These providers may only use your data as instructed by us and to perform their services, subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies that are essential for session management, security, and preferences (for example, keeping you signed in). We may also use analytics or preference cookies where permitted. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling certain cookies may limit functionality of the Service.

Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain records after account closure where required for legal, tax, or security purposes, or in anonymized/aggregated form that does not identify you.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@laserminder.com. We will respond in accordance with applicable law. You may also be able to update some information directly in your account settings.

Children's Privacy

Laser Minder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Changes to Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised Policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Where changes are material, we will provide additional notice as appropriate (for example, by email or in-product message).
